Who we are

Holly & Hare is an independent educational publisher and an imprint of Lantern Learn. This policy covers hollyandhare.com only. Each Lantern Learn imprint operates its own site with its own policy.

What we collect

Visiting a page on hollyandhare.com sends standard web request information (your IP address, browser type, the page you requested) to our hosting provider, which we use to keep the site online and protect it from abuse.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit and how they found us. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. We use this data only to improve the site; we do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can block these cookies with your browser settings or an extension like Google's opt-out add-on, and the site works fine without them.

Beyond that, we do not collect personal information unless you choose to give it to us, for example by typing your email into one of our release-list forms.

The release list

If you join our release list, we store your email address with Resend, the email service we use to send notifications. We use it only to tell you when new titles are released. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or send anything you did not ask for. To be removed, email [email protected] and we'll take you off the list.

Cookies

The only non-essential cookies on this site are the Google Analytics cookies described above. We do not run third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.

Children's privacy

Our workbooks are designed for children, but our site is intended for the parents, teachers, and caregivers who use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Third parties

A few third parties help us run this site:

• Cloudflare hosts and protects this site.
• Google Analytics 4 provides aggregate site analytics, as described above.
• Resend stores release-list emails and delivers our release notifications.

Your choices

You can browse hollyandhare.com without giving us any personal information. You can block analytics cookies. And if you've joined the release list and want off, one email to [email protected] removes you.
